The Villages at Lakepointe

The Villages at Lakepointe – Serenity and Style

Villages at Lakespointe PhotoRyko Development had a clear vision and brilliant community plan when, in 1998, it purchased the land for what is now known as Villages at Lakepointe. Development began immediately and the land soon developed into a neighborhood replete with beautiful homes, shimmering lake, and recreational amenities.

By 2000, David Powers Homes had sold the first lot in this blossoming community. Emerald Homes soon followed. Ryko Development was careful to select a team of award-winning builders that would offer residents many quality choices and result in a collage of gorgeous elevations to complement the landscape.

Ryko Development and David Powers Homes also left an indelible impression on the city of Houston in 2001. That’s when Ryko Development donated a home site within Villages at Lakepointe, while David Powers Homes built the Benefit Home for the Greater Houston Builders Association Benefit Homes Project. Each year, these homes are sold at market value, with the majority of the proceeds awarded to Houston area charities. The 2001 beneficiaries included the Texas Children’s Hospital Center and the Alzheimer’s Association.

In addition to all of the new home designs that were beginning to fill-out the streets and cul-de-sacs, Ryko Development introduced a new component, in Spring of 2001, that residents and guests would thoroughly enjoy: an Outdoor Recreation Center. Designed as a breezy, open-air pavilion, this center showcased an expansive play area complete with slides and swings. A Junior Olympic-sized swimming pool offered plenty of swim room for adults while featuring Turtle fountains and rotating buckets to entertain younger residents. Since its opening, the center has become a focal point of community relaxation and fun.

Villages at Lakespointe PhotoAs with Ryko’s other developments, Villages at Lakepointe promised new homebuyers both convenience and luxury, and it delivered on this promise in impressive ways. Residents working in the energy corridor were immediately drawn to this community’s location. In addition to onsite recreation, families also appreciated the neighborhood’s proximity to area recreational facilities, shopping venues, medical facilities, and top-rated Cypress-Fairbanks schools.

By 2003, the final lot was sold and the community was officially closed out. Residents who chose Villages at Lakepointe as their home now enjoy a fully developed community that offers serenity, convenience, and beauty. With all of these assets in play, Ryko Development wasn’t surprised that such a unique, lakeside community could come together so seamlessly, or that homebuyers would flock to its shores.
