Lakes of Bella Terra, the newest resort-style community by Ryko Development, Inc., is at the top of its class in West Houston with high
scores in every category homebuyers use to evaluate new communities.
From its ultra convenient location just minutes from the Westpark Tollway and around the corner from The Shops at Bella Terra, to its resort-style amenities, low taxes and
access to great new schools, Lakes of Bella Terra offers homebuyers everything they could want in a new neighborhood.
Families with children now have an additional incentive for considering Lakes of Bella Terra - one year of free tuition to Westlake Prep, offered by the Lakes of Bella Terra
Builders. This offer is valid on new home contracts starting July 1 through October 1, 2008, and it is joined by an offer from Westlake Prep to extend a 15% discount on tuition
to all Lakes of Bella Terra students for the remainder of their education at that school.
Scheduled to open in January 2009, the first phase of Westlake Prep will consist of a 40,000 square foot elementary school that will serve students from pre-school through
fourth grade. The brand new facility will house classrooms, a state-of-the-art media center and library, gymnasium, administrative offices, and more. An especially exciting
feature of Phase I is “Before and After School Care” from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. While construction of the permanent location is in progress, a temporary location has opened at
the Westland Baptist Church located at 1407 W. Grand Parkway S.
Lakes of Bella Terra’s youngest students will also soon have access to nearby Joe A. Hubenak Elementary School, a brand new facility scheduled to break ground this summer and
open in 2009. This campus will be part of the award-winning Lamar Consolidated Independent School District, which is renowned for its modern facilities.
While access to great schools certainly contributes to the “family-friendly” atmosphere at Lakes of Bella Terra, it’s the people who live there that make it such a special
place to call home.
“There’s a tremendous sense of community here,” said Lisa Clark, Vice President of Ryko Development, Inc., Houston’s 2006 “Developer of the Year”. “We have so many great ho
meowners, like Stacie and Tom Langland, who take tremendous pride in the community and who actively help bring neighbors together.”
The Langlands recently helped organize a neighborhood 4th of July Party, complete with a parade, a cook-out, games, activities and an inflatable “moonwalk”. The party was held
at the Lakes of Bella Terra Recreation Center, a multi-million dollar facility with a junior Olympic pool, water playground, tennis courts, volleyball courts, state-of-the-art
exercise center and community gathering rooms.
“The turnout was terrific and everybody had a wonderful time,” added Clark. “This is the second event in the last few months that was organized by homeowners. Prior to the 4th
of July Party, Evelyn and Jay Hroch organized an Easter Egg Hunt, which was a huge hit with the neighborhood kids and is sure to become an annual event.”
Another feature of Lakes of Bella Terra that continues to attract homebuyers is its extensive offering of homes by many of West Houston’s most popular builders. Lakes of Bella
Terra offers Executive Homes from the $170’s to the $600’s, and 10 models are currently open. Lakes of Bella Terra also features Estate Custom Homes in a gated, waterfront
enclave within the community. These spectacular, one-of-a-kind designs are now selling from the $700’s to $2 million.
To visit, take Westpark Tollway, (E-Z tag only), or take I-10 West, exit Grand Parkway/HWY 99. Go South on Grand Parkway to Bellaire Blvd. Turn right on Bellaire Blvd. to the
Lakes of Bella Terra entrance. Models are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. For more information, call 281-342-9920 or visit
